The Irrigation Caddy ( IC ) device is an ethernet based irrigation control system.
The system allows the user to control and schedule an irrigation system from any computer with a web browser. No special software or clients are required, just a Web Browser on a computer.
Installation is simple. Connect the IC to your network using an ethernet cable, and the IC will automatically obtain a DHCP IP address from ( typically ) your DSL/Cable router. Then connect the valve wires to the IC and the IC is ready to run. Setting the schedules is also very simple.
The IC can be accessed using your Web Browser from your home computer. The interface is clear and user friendly. Simply tell it what days it should water, and at what times, and the IC will save the information. The information is kept on the IC, even if the power is turned off.

Great item! Review by Andy
Value Quality Price It does almost everything I wanted and turned out to be the least expensive. I see by the comments that apparently the things it lacks get added down the line so here is mine. Abilty to add a photograph of the zone. With port forwarding opened up, I can control it from my iPhone, watch out pesky dogs/kids! (Posted on 7/10/11)

Great product Review by Quang
Price Value Quality This thing is great... only change I would like to see is the ability to pull weather information from RSS feed and adjust the watering amount. (Posted on 6/11/11)

Love it! Review by Dietrich
Price Value Quality I love this product. Simple to install. Easy to program from any wireless device in the house. No need to get out a manual just to "program" your irrigation timer anymore.
My only suggestion is that it would be nice if you could customize the name of the zones.

Awesome Device! Review by Boca Mike
Quality Price Value This device is awesome. It was very easy to hook up both to my sprinklers and my home network. All it lacks is a rain sensor connection or, in the alternative, a way to suspend the schedule for a specific number of days due to rain.
I thinking about purchasing a few 24vac relays and using the spare zones to control outdoor lighting. (Posted on 7/29/10) -
How Controllers Should Be Review by surfscientist
Price Value Quality In this last year I've created a large edible landscape. I did a thorough Web search on controllers. My ideal controller would have a Web interface, adjust for local weather conditions (evapotranspiration) and control the valves wirelessly, where the valves would have a solar powered battery or capacitor to actuate them. Alas, this dream system does not exist anywhere at any price, though all the parts do. That said, the Irrigation Caddy is an amazing value for what it does. It's as simple as these things should be. (though not quite as simple as the instructions say if you have a Macintosh computer) I'd like to be able to name the zones and have more than three programs, which should just be a small matter of programming. Great Product, Great Price Review by JohnKenny
Price Value Quality Product was exactly what I needed, easy to setup, 3 zones run great
automatically even when not connected to a computer. All the buttons and selections work as they should.
I contacted tech support several times about questions related to adding additional controllers and methods of shipment, received
answers within hour and sometimes within a few minutes. I wanted to know if you can run more than one unit
on a network since you cannot give it a static address. Mr. Tenrreiro
responded yes, but you have to contact tech support after you order it
and tell them you have more than 1 unit and they will configure it
accordingly. This should be noted in the manual and on the web site. I have ordered a
second controller, I like the first one so much. (Posted on 6/24/10) -

Sprinklers Made Easy Review by Dean
Price Value Quality Very simple to install and easy to program. Does not require software installation and as such, your computer need not be running for the zone programs to run. KG Controls delivered quickly and answered emailed questions right away. If you are in need of a new timer, this unit is perfect. My only gripe is that I would like the ability to rename the zones, but definitely not a deal breaker.
Thanks for a great product. (Posted on 6/4/10)
